About Our Foundry
Pioneering quality cast iron and hand-forged wrought iron engineering works for decades.
Blending Age-Old Craftsmanship With Modern Precision
Founded with a passion for metal architectural detailing, **BART Gruhudhyog Engineering Works** has grown from a local foundry into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We design and build high-quality cast iron columns, ornate gates, lighting solutions, and heavy-duty park benches.
Every casting starts in our design department where blueprints are translated into wood or metal patterns. In our molding shop, artisans pack sand around these patterns to form the hollow cavity. Molten iron is then poured at extreme temperatures. Once cooled, we grind, assemble, sandblast, and powder coat to achieve structural excellence.
Our Foundry Process
Crafting monumental structures requires a rigorous step-by-step casting and engineering workflow to guarantee structural longevity.
Pattern Designing
Using CAD systems, we design exact 2D/3D templates, carving patterns in teakwood, aluminum, or resins for molding.
Sand Molding & Pouring
Molten Grade-20 pig iron is melted in our furnace at 1200°C and poured into compact green sand molds.
Fettling & Grinding
After cooling, the gates or poles are shaken out. Gates and flashings are hand-ground to clean up rough casting seams.
Thermoset Powder Coat
Parts are sandblasted, zinc-primed, and powder coated at 200°C, forming a hard, weather-proof protective shell.
Why Developers Choose BART Works
BART products are engineered to serve both aesthetic values and physical loading capacities. Over the decades, we have continuously optimized our formulations.
-
Pure Cast Iron (Grade 20)
We never dilute molten scrap. We use high-grade pig iron to prevent internal cavities or brittleness.
-
Structural Integrity
All light poles and columns are engineered with solid bases to withstand strong winds and seismic shifts.
-
Custom Tailoring
